StemPro isn’t a camp or a course catalog. We’re a studio that ships real AI products — from music-driven support for children with autism to tutors that sharpen reasoning instead of replacing it — and our students build them. They leave able to explain and rebuild everything they made. Because in the AI era, understanding is the rare part.
StemPro was co-founded by engineers, researchers, and educators who came up through different worlds — big-tech AI, academic research, and the classroom — and share one conviction: students should build real things and truly understand them.
That mix is deliberate. Working engineers keep the projects real and current — agentic AI, large language models, the tools shipping today. Researchers hold the work to a publishable standard. Educators make sure it’s actually learnable. Between them, our mentors have shipped production AI, earned patents, published in JMIR, presented at MIT URTC, and taught and mentored students since 2019 — to real research, competition wins, and admission to schools like MIT, Carnegie Mellon, and UC Berkeley.
Your child won’t be handed to a rotating grad-student TA — they’ll work with people who’ve actually done the work they’re guiding.

The StemPro team
Your own, or a spark from class or family. We help you shape it into something buildable.
A working engineer or researcher who’s shipped real work guides you — one-to-one or in a small cohort.
An app, a paper, a competition entry, a tool — yours, in the world, and you can explain every line.
StemPro is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity. We charge tuition because real mentorship and real products cost real money — and a limited number of need-based scholarships are available. But because we’re a nonprofit, we win when your child does, not when we upsell you. That’s the whole difference.
